Effects of Love Addiction

  1. You are very needy when it comes to relationships.
  2. You fall in love very easily and too quickly.
  3. When you fall in love, you can’t stop fantasizing—even to do important things. You can’t help yourself.
  4. Sometimes, when you are lonely and looking for companionship, you lower your standards and settle for less than you want or deserve.
  5. When you are in a relationship, you tend to smother your partner.
  6. More than once, you have gotten involved with someone who is unable to commit—hoping he or she will change.
  7. Once you have bonded with someone, you can’t let go.
  8. When you are attracted to someone, you will ignore all the warning signs that this person is not good for you.
  9. Initial attraction is more important to you than anything else when it comes to falling in love and choosing a partner. Falling in love over time does not appeal to you and is not an option.
  10. When you are in love, you trust people who are not trustworthy. The rest of the time you have a hard time trusting people. We all do crazy things for love, sometimes we humiliate or demean ourselves, but love addiction is a pattern of engaging in relationships that are unhealthy.

Whats Love Addiction

Those involved in a pattern of love addiction do not continue such destructive patterns knowingly. It is their absolute belief that the current person is the one that was meant for them, and that they will be together for the rest of their lives—defying all odds and obstacles, if necessary. The meaning that they derive in their own life is directly tied to this belief. In fact, it is in this irrational thought process that provides the eLove Addiction usually involves a pattern of frequent relationships that often begin with intense passion and which end relatively quickly. A variation of this is the involvement in long-term relationships with dramatic highs/lows, thus simulating a similar range of emotions as that found in short-term relationships.
Often, these relationships are staggered, with multiple, simultaneous relationships taking place at different stages within the unique pattern. As the pattern continues, the negative impact that the "low cycles" have on a person's esteem becomes greater and greater--creating a more definitive need for a new relationship (or new commitment to an ongoing relationship). Just as often, however, is a pattern where there is an absolute commitment to a single relationship—no matter how unhealthy and/or destructive that relationship becomes.
motional comfort and stability that they seek.

In it's extreme form, that of romantic delusions, love addiction can lead to the horrific stalking and violence episodes often portrayed in the news. Suicide and self-mutilation is also common in extreme cases. Most often though, love addicts tend to have an extremely low self-esteem, feel that their worth is tied to their current partner/relationship, and are often uncomfortable in social situations. Because of the personal sacrifices that they are so eagerly willing to make, more advanced love addictions tend to be accompanied by poor career development and impulsive financial management—though this is by no means a steadfast rule.

One exception to this profile is the successful professional suffering from romantic delusions involving the rescue of someone in distress. In such a scenario, the love addict frequently fantasizes about walking into a fast food restaurant (or hiring a maid or some other person from a significantly lower economic class/culture) and falling instantly in love with this person--proceeding to take on the role of their savior.

LOVE IS CREATED BY HEART BUT MARRIGES ARE DECIDED IN HEVEN

Richard Gere's White Collar Crimes

Brit Marling and Richard Gere in 'Arbitrage.'
What went down Saturday at the Sundance Film Festival? Some juicy, star-filled movies that have acquisitions execs buzzing. Let's check in.
Arbitrage
Plot: An ultra-rich hedge fund magnate (Richard Gere) is trying desperately to cover up some financial misdeeds ... and then boom: He accidentally kills his mistress in a car crash. Now he's got to cover that up, too, and all the while, his wife (Susan Sarandon), daughter (Brit Marling), and a relentless detective (Tim Roth) are closing in on the truth.
Reaction: At first, Arbitrage seems to be hitting many of the same beats asMargin Call -- the rich panicking that they'll no longer get richer -- but that car crash energerizes the movie, which is tightly written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki. Gere's character thinks he's doing the right thing in covering up his crimes, since his family and investors will be devastated if the truth comes out ... and yet the longer the picture goes on, the more it becomes clear that he's simply covering his own ass and rationalizing each additional innocent he has to sacrifice. "Familiar but not stale," said THR's Todd McCarthy, adding, "it has strong commercial potential." The New York Post's Lou Lumenick went even further, calling Gere's performance the best of his career.
Robot and Frank
Plot: In the near future, a grown son (James Marsden) loses his patience for visiting his elderly, forgetful father (Frank Langella), and instead buys him a robot companion (voiced by Peter Sarsgaard). Ex-thief Frank, who spends most of his time visiting the library (run by Susan Sarandon), eventually warms up to his robot friend and finds a partner in crime. With Liv Tyler as Langella's globe-trotting daughter.
Reaction: First-time director Jake Schreier has taken a cutesy premise and turned it into a small, moving buddy comedy about the demise of human communication. The technological advances it imagines are low-fi and delightful. A real gem (and there haven't been that many so far at this festival), with Frank Langella giving a performance that should be rewarded long after he leaves Park City.
Bones Brigade
Plot: Stacy Peralta (Riding Giants, Dogtown and Z-Boys) flashes back to the 1980s to profile Bones Brigade, his team of wunderkind skateboarders that counted Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen and Tommy Guerrero among its original crew. Between Peralta narrating and the team members, now in middle age, reminiscing, the film shows how Peralta groomed a group of relative unknowns into a team that "paved the way to make money in skateboarding."
Reaction: The skills and tricks are awesome to behold, even in grainy '80s footage, but it's not just about the tricks: This is as much a coming-of-age film as it is a sports documentary. The team members endear themselves to you as they tell tales from the good ol' days, while touching on the stress of being a teen (and contending with parents who disapproved of skate culture). It helps that these guys are extremely likable -- they're funny, honest and, in the case of Mullen, downright poetic. Bones Brigade is also an interesting account of the evolution of skateboard culture, from formal skate park competitions to backyard half-pipe parties to today's freestyle revolution. It's not Peralta's most riveting or adrenalized documentary, but it has a lot of heart.

sunny leyon bio

Date of Birth
13 May 1981Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Birth Name
Karenjit Kaur Vohra

Nickname
Karen

Height
5' 4" (1.63 m)

Mini Biography
Born in Ontario, Canada, Sunny Leone grew up in idyllic surroundings, loving the cold Canadian winters and the snow that came with them. Building snowmen and ice skating were regular activities outside the Leone household every November through March. With a love for sports, singing and dancing, young Sunny was a consummate performer, basking in the attention it brought her and eating up every word of praise that came her way. Everything changed in 1996, when her family packed up and moved to Southern California. It was a difficult adjustment for the little Canadian girl, whose innocence and naiveté were less than fully appreciated by her new high school classmates. In addition, her adopted hometown lacked the change of seasons she so loved in the Old Country. Sunny persevered, however, and after graduating in 1999, enrolled in a local junior college. After a friend told her she should try modeling - a natural choice for a young beauty - she found a contact who specialized in adult entertainment and decided to give it a try.

Though initially wary of taking her clothes off and striking suggestive poses for the camera, curiosity got the better of her and she dived in full force, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after adult models. In 2001 Sunny was named Penthouse Pet of the Month for the March issue, and numerous layouts in other magazines soon followed, including "Cheri", "High Society", "Swank", "Leg World", "Hustler" and "Club International". She has also appeared in the Penthouse: Pets in Paradise (2001) (V) home video, as well as Ja Rule's "Livin' It Up" music video. So popular had she become that she set up her own website. Sunny would one day like to have a mainstream acting career, though she is content to stick with nude modeling for now. In addition, she is attending a junior college in Southern California, and hopes to become a registered nurse. She would also like to be a wife and mother at some point, though that will have to wait until Mr. Right comes along.

The film was a critical and commercial success. Her Bollywood debut came with Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). However the film failed to create any ripples at the box office. She then starred in S. She also acted in British films, Provoked (2007) and The Last Legion (2007). However, both failed to do well. In 2008, she played the role of Queen Jodha bai in the partly fictionalized epic drama, Jodhaa Akbar which became a commercial and critical success. JESSICA CHASTAIN

Actress Jessica Chastain plays human canvas to four leading artists of the day.
GEORGE CONDO
Though best known for his fiercely wacky portraits, the American artist George Condo is as much a portraitist as he is an abstract expressionist. “I love the idea of two incompatible worlds brought together—opposing forces harmonically melded,” he says. When he met Chastain, his plan was to create two artworks—and cast her not as their subject but as a character in them. “I wanted Jessica to become part of the painting and then appear to come off it, as if she were breaking free and leaving behind an empty space,” he says. “I liked that the paintings were 3-D.” To achieve that effect, Condo designed two simple canvas dresses for Chastain, taping them to the canvas and painting over them so that when they were removed, they would leave a blank space but appear to be a fragment of the piece. Standing in front of Condo's Abstract Conversations, 2012, with her red hair teased to eternity, Chastain blended into the cacophony of line and color, a member of the loopy crew. As Condo studied Chastain posing next to the other figures in the work, he began drawing a cluster of noisy characters close to her head to give the impression “that they were yelling into her ear.” While Chastain was having white makeup applied to half her face, Condo grabbed a scrap of paper and created an eye for her to use as a prop. “I thought if she just held it in front of her, it would give a real sort of Stanley Kubrick feel to the experience.” The result, of course, is suitably schizoid, just as Condo envisioned. “With that popped-out eye, there are two different sides to her face: one hysterical and the other soulful,” he says. “Multiple emotions at the same time.

Kim Kardashian

Hollywood's hottest celebs are usually shellacked to perfection, but when the makeup comes off, what's underneath can be surprising.

From The Stir: "Stars without makeup are fascinating. We're so used to seeing them groomed, coated, and shellacked into perfection that when it all comes off, what's underneath is often shocking. Sometimes it's for the better, and we wonder why they don't show some restraint more often."

Click through to The Stir for five celebs you might not recognize without their makeup. Surprised? Who looks best? Worst?

Mom-to-be Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Kanye West visited the famous statue Christ the Redeemer while on vacation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday. Clothed in hot pink from head to toe and surrounded by tourists, Kim and her growing baby bumpcouldn't resist stretching her arms and striking a pose in front of the statue.
Kimye was first spotted in Brazil enjoying a romantic getaway, possibly a babymoon, on Friday. The expectant couple has been sightseeing at the hottest tourist spots, including of course the Jesus statue atop Corcovado Mountain.

FALL IN LOVE

Why Do We Fall in Love

Most of us remember that incredibly blissful feeling of being "in love" at least once in our lives.
You couldn't breathe, you couldn't concentrate and all you wanted to do was to be with your beloved, basking in that delicious magnetic pull toward each other. You couldn't get enough of one another. You felt like it was "right" and you were "home."
Now we know that it's not realistic (or even desirable) to go through life like this--feeling so ungrounded, scattered and unfocused all the time that you can't get much done.
What happens for most couples is...
For some mysterious reason in the process of "settling down", we lose all or most of this excitement and powerful
feelings of love and attraction we felt for one another.
We settle into comfort and routine and those intense feelings get so watered down that we have trouble finding them.
Most of the people who begin to question whether they want to be in the relationship they're in or not (and the ones who are living with the question of whether to stay or go tell us that what happened for them is what happened for many couples...
Somewhere along the line they lost the passion, spark and desire that they once had. It all sort of faded away and they ended up wondering "what just happened?"
We've discovered that it doesn't have to be this way...

While you probably don't want those exact feelings you had when you were first in love (we don't), but what you may want is a more seasoned hybrid of it. In other words, you may want a little more spark than what you have now without all the drama and intensity that's over the edge.
The good news is that you don't have to get divorced or go find a new partner to find it.
Here are 4 ways that we and other couples use to fall in love over and over again with each other...
